The capital of the U.A.E. Abu Dhabi translated in Arabic implies father of the gazelle a tribute to the hordes of gazelles and Arabian Oryx’s that once flocked the arid emirates desert. Today Abu Dhabi is amongst the world largest producers of oil and one of the richest cities in the Middle East. Our journey begins starts with a drive past the man made port of Jebel Ali on a two drive to the capital city taking in the desert landscape studded with acacia trees enroute.Our first stop is at the breathtaking Sheikh Zayed Mosque for a photostop. We then head to the Heritage Village to watch the Bedouins at their workshops. Our route takes us along a scenic drive along the Riviera styled Abu Dhabi Corniche past the intriguing sights of the capital known for its sky scrapers, palaces and villas. We proceed to the Breakwater Island for a lunch break at the Marina Mall. We then stop outside the Emirates Palace hotel and Presidential Palace for a quick photostop. Entry into the Emirates Palace is strictly subject to availability and require guests to be dressed in smart casuals. Our tour ends with a drive past the Dhow-building yard before heading back to Dubai.

Al Ain in Arabic translates literally to the eye or the spring - a charming desert oasis, also known as the Garden City of the Emirates is an hour and half drive away from either Dubai or Abu Dhabi. Al Ain is also the largest inland city in emirates surrounded by the magnificent red sand dunes and over looked by impressive mountains. In the past The Oasis of Alain was a welcome stop on the caravan trail at the foot of the magnificent Hajar Mountains. Today Al Ain boasts of farms of vegetables and date trees and is the home of one the oldest and modern educational institutions in the emirates with the Al Ain University. Our tour takes us to the great archaeological Hilli Garden which dates back to over 500 years after which proceed to the Al Ain museum for visit to trace the origins of the ruling family and the early life in the emirates. Our route continues to take in the beautiful landscape with birds a eye view from the top of the Jebel Hafeet (the tallest mountain in the emirates). In the afternoon we break for lunch in the city followed by a visit to the largest camel market in the United Arab Emirates and resume our journey home.
